Welcome to Penarth Ganol.
At Penarth Ganol we offer traditional
farmhouse bed and breakfast in our Grade II Listed farmstead.
The farm is situated in the beautiful
Cothi Valley, on the edge of the Cambrian Mountains, in an
area noted for its rich wild life. Red kites, buzzards and
ravens nest nearby and over forty other species of birds have
been seen on the farm.
Several National Trust properties are
within easy reach, including the Dolaucothi Roman Gold Mines.
For garden enthusiasts there are the National Botanic Gardens
of Wales and Aberglasney Gardens (the Gardens Lost in Time).
The market towns of Llandovery, Lampeter
and Llandeilo are nearby and there is easy access to the Brecon
Beacons National Park, Brechfa Forest and the Pembrokeshire
and Ceredigion Coasts.
Stabling and grazing are available if
guests want to bring their horses and there is a trekking
centre across the valley. There is also local trout and coarse
fishing nearby.
Penarth Ganol is a working farm,
with sheep and horses (and lambs and foals in spring and summer)
and guests are welcome to relax around our 57 acres. |
