Penarth Ganol Caravan
The caravan is situated below the farmstead,
with superb views over the Cothi Valley.
Come and meet our rare breed Leicester Longwool
sheep and even more rare Akhal Teke horses, who originate
in Turkmenistan. You are welcome to walk around our 57 acres
and to meet the animals. We are also within easy distance
of the market towns of Llandovery, Lampeter, Llandeilo and
Carmarthen.
There are two bedrooms. The larger has a
double bed and spacious wardrobe. The smaller room has also
a double bed and a child’s bunk which lets down over
the bed. This room is therefore ideal for a family with children.
All bedding and towels are included.
The kitchen is fully equipped with a gas
cooker, refrigerator, electric kettle, toaster, etc. Cutlery
and crockery are, of course, provided.
The bathroom has a wash basin and toilet,
and a very efficient shower (we have tried it out ourselves).
In addition the living area has a TV, CD
player, radio and a selection of CDs, books etc if you want
to relax. Outside the decking has a table and chairs, plus
a bar-B-Q so that you can enjoy some good food with a lovely
view.
Rates: £250 per
week, short breaks from £120 subject to availability.
Come and visit us, see our Red Kites who
nest on the farm, our rare Leicester Longwool lambs and the
foals which we breed each year. There is also James the goat
(so old that no-one knows how old he is), not to mention our
sheep dog Megan and the cats – Spock, Pussy Galore,
and the kittens Thomas and Miss Moneypenny.
Bed and breakfast is also available in our
traditional Welsh farmhouse, which is Grade II listed and
dates back to 1780.
